Sansio is pleased to announce that Rich Brennan, Director of the Home Care Technology Association of America (HCTAA) and Deputy Director of Government Affairs for NAHC, will be presenting at the 2010 HomeSolutions.NET User Conference in October.
Rich Brennan serves as the Deputy Director of Government Affairs for the National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) and the Director of its affiliated Home Care Technology Association of America (HCTAA). Rich’s areas of expertise include legislative and regulatory issues pertaining to electronic health records (EHRs), telehealth, point of care technologies, remote monitoring technologies and disruptive technologies in the home health and hospice industry.
As the healthcare industry moves towards electronic health records across the continuum, home health and other segments of the long term post-acute care market (LTPAC) will need to understand how it affects their business, clients, and employees. Stage 1 of the ARRA (American Reinvestment and Recovery Act) provided meaningful use incentives to qualified providers including hospitals and physician practices, Stages 2 and 3 will more directly impact LTPAC providers.
In harmony with the conference’s theme of “Moving Towards Paperless”, Rich is considered one of the industry’s top representatives dedicated to advancing legislative awareness of technology, EHR’s and interoperability in home health. Rich will provide valuable perspective and forecast the legislative, regulatory, and business drivers that will help agencies understand how they can best position and prepare for future success.
