Dale Pearson - Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board
Dale co-founded Sansio in June of 1997, bringing the entrepreneurial
skills necessary to grow and expand a start-up healthcare information
services company. He developed Sansio’s business model and services
platform, creating web-enabled decision support solutions for the home
care, emergency medical services (EMS), and assisted living industries.
Under his leadership, Sansio has maintained a focus on achieving bottom-line
results while formulating and implementing advanced technology and
business applications. Dale’s key responsibilities include software
architecture, leading the management team through the development
life-cycle, marketing and support of healthcare business solutions,
client/partner relations, business development, organizational financial
management, and general operational oversight.
Dale graduated
from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Engineering Degree
and a Masters in Business Administration. Dale was formerly in project
engineering for eleven years in the construction / engineering
industries with various responsibilities on “super fast track”
industrial construction projects.
Dale possesses the skills necessary to conceive, launch and grow new
products and services; Sansio’s solutions help customers increase
operating efficiencies, improve care and reduce costs, “enabling
success”. Dale is successfully able to communicate the company’s vision
to investors and employees in an exciting manner so that they share the
vision and are motivated to achieve it. His diverse experience in
strategic planning, product development, cost management, financial
planning and control have enabled him to significantly grow Sansio’s
performance, profit and shareholder value.
Dale lives with
his wife and four sons. Dale and his family are active in their church and soccer
and are fans of just about every Minnesota sports team – Vikings, Twins, T’Wolves,
Gophers, etc.
Kevin Noreen - Chief Financial Officer
Kevin joined Sansio as Controller in December 1997. He was promoted to
Chief Financial Officer in September 1999. He provides strategic and
operational direction to the company’s finance, accounting and human
resource group. He is responsible for budget development, financial
reporting, benefits management and general facilities coordination. In
addition, Kevin provides design input in development of financial
management modules for Sansio product lines.
Kevin graduated
with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of MN in
Duluth. He is a Certified Public Accountant, and prior to employment
with Sansio, held executive level financial positions in both the public
and private sectors.
Kevin possesses a solid record in the core areas of business leadership,
corporate finance and operations management. His understanding of key
business drivers, corporate financial strategies and resource execution
gives him an ideal background to manage Sansio’s broad financial and
business objectives. Kevin is a profit-driven, results-oriented and
passionate business executive, managing relationships with lenders,
commercial bankers, strategic partners, shareholders and Sansio’s human
resource management needs. Kevin was instrumental in Sansio’s growth
from an entrepreneurial start-up company with angel-backed financing to
the market leader it is today with ever-increasing profitability and
shareholder value.
Kevin lives with
his wife and has three children; one college graduate
daughter, a college son, and a soccer playing middle
school daughter. Kevin has a passion for golf and watching his kids play
soccer and basketball.
Darris Clark - Vice
President of Home Care Services
Darris
joined Sansio as Vice President of Home Care Services in April, 2008. He
began his relationship with Sansio as a

customer in 1999. In 2003, Darris became a member of the Sansio Home
Care consulting team, providing home care consulting services to Sansio
customers. Darris is responsible for the overall management and
development of the home care and assisted living product lines.
Darris graduated with his BSN from
Valparaiso University in Indiana. Following graduation, he spent 10
years as managing owner of the largest home care agency in Nevada,
making decisions essential to the company’s growth and prosperity during
a very tumultuous time in the Home Care industry. In 2006, his agency
was acquired by a national corporation; Darris spent two years
transitioning the business, ensuring the well-being of the staff and
patients as the conversion took place.
Darris’ aptitude
for problem-solving makes him a natural leader. He is an enterprising
individual, using his industry knowledge, business savvy and technical
skills to anticipate, and help fulfill, the needs of the home care
community. As a home care agency Business Manager, his
responsibilities were vast, handling personnel, compliance, legislative
and legal issues, as well as managing all of the financial components of
a successful business. Darris achieved successful results, as his
company became a well-known and respected healthcare provider, while
maintaining position as the largest home care agency in Nevada.
Darris lives with
his son and two daughters in Las Vegas, NV. He likes to play as hard as
he works, spending his free time camping and riding four wheelers.
Tim Hakamaki -
Vice President of EMS
Tim became Sansio’s first direct marketing hire when he came on
board as a Home Care Advisor in November 1997. Commencing in late 1999,
Tim started spending part of his time determining how to apply Sansio's
home care decision support solution to the emergency medical services
(EMS) industry. In January 2000, he began working full-time on the EMS
product and was promoted to Vice President of EMS in March of 2000. Tim
is responsible for the overall management of EMS product development,
marketing, training, implementation and support.
Tim graduated with
a Bachelor of Arts degree in Nursing from the College of St.
Scholastica. While working as an intensive care registered nurse at St.
Mary's Medical Center in Duluth in 1996, Tim started working part-time
as a visit nurse at Nurses That Care, a home care agency formerly owned
by Sansio. Tim's experience also includes serving as a first responder
for the Cromwell Fire and Ambulance Department from 1990 to 1993 and
since 1993 has volunteered as a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical
Technician (EMT).
Tim possesses outstanding leadership abilities and has earned a
well-deserved reputation for developing innovative,
technologically-advanced software for today’s EMS environment. He has
demonstrated ability to create, lead and mentor a high-performance EMS
group comprised of diverse and highly technical individuals, giving him
a solid background for developing, expanding and enhancing Sansio’s EMS
solution,
HealthEMS®.
Tim has led the integrated, native web-based
HealthEMS®
solution to be used by over 25% of America’s top 40 EMS organizations.
Tim lives with his
wife, son and two daughters and enjoys hunting between the hours of 2:00
AM and 4:00 AM, when he is not working. He raises horses, restores cars,
cuts hay, and loves to play and watch basketball.
David Barthel - Vice President
of Support Services
David joined
Sansio as Director of Support Services in January of 1998, was
promoted to Vice President of Home Care Services in March of 2000, and
transitioned to Vice President, Support Services in April, 2008. He
transferred to Sansio after serving as a case manager and admissions
coordinator for three years at Nurses That Care, a home care agency
formerly owned by Sansio. David is responsible for the overall
management of Sansio's industry leading customer support, training,
implementation, and educational resources as well as product testing and
quality assurance.
David
graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Science with an
emphasis in Biology from St. John's University in Minnesota. He earned a
Bachelor of Arts degree in Nursing from the College of St. Scholastica.
Prior to accepting the position with Sansio, he served four years as a
registered nurse in the neuro-intensive care unit at St. Mary's Medical
Center, Duluth, MN.
David possesses exceptional abilities at creating and refining
information management flow processes. He was the lead developer of the
scannable OMR data collection sheets as well as the developer of the
HomeSolution.NET®
web-based decision support software. David uses the latest technology to
integrate, streamline, and simplify clinical, financial, and
administrative workflow for today’s home care and assisted living
environments. David has achieved successful results, leading the home
care / assisted living team to development, sales, implementation and
support of customers in almost every state and Puerto Rico.
David lives with his
wife, son, and daughter. He likes to brew beer, make homemade sausage,
garden, socialize with friends, and is a recent convert to golfing.
Kraig Erickson – Vice President of Sales
and Marketing
Kraig joined Sansio in July, 2001 as a Market Developer responsible for
migration of Sansio home care customers to its proprietary data center.
Kraig was promoted to Director, Sales and Marketing, Home Care Services,
in November, 2001, Director, Sales and Marketing in March of 2003, and
Vice President in June of 2007.
He is responsible for the day-to-day sales and marketing of Sansio’s
home care product lines, and has overall responsibility for the
marketing image of all of Sansio product lines, including web-based
marketing activities.
Kraig graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management,
with an emphasis in Computer Science from the College of St.
Scholastica. Prior to joining Sansio, Kraig was employed with Wizmo,
Inc., an Application Service Provider (ASP) and pioneer of the Saas
(Software as a Service) model. During that tenure, Kraig
acted in the roles of Network Engineer, Network Services Manager,
Director of Small Business Services, and Consulting Branch Manager and
Sales. In those roles, he provided product, process, strategy, and
market development of emerging application services nationwide.
Kraig is a proven sales and marketing performer with the ability to
execute a wide range of strategies designed to enhance Sansio’s market
presence. He is a motivated, results-oriented manager with a focus on
customer service excellence. Kraig has led the design of Sansio’s
web-based marketing strategies, which are a primary channel used by
Sansio to efficiently and cost-effectively bring its message to market.
Kraig has a unique blend of technical and sales expertise. His
demonstrated ability to manage marketing communications and strategic
partner opportunities has contributed to Sansio’s increased revenues and
profitability.
Kraig lives with his
wife, son, and daughter. He loves to camp, fish, play guitar, basketball,
and golf. He is a big fan of high school sports, Gopher basketball, the
Vikings, Twins, and Phoenix Suns.
Michelle Wiklund- Vice President of Corporate Relations
Michelle brought 25 years of healthcare management experience when
she accepted a position as Vice President of Marketing with Sansio in
February of 1998. She was given the additional responsibilities of Vice
President of Corporate Relations in 2002. Michelle has overall
responsibility for Sansio’s sales, marketing, and corporate relations
activities; she has helped formulate a successful growth strategy for
Sansio’s product lines, using a value-based marketing approach. Her
corporate relations duties include creating and promoting the “Sansio”
image to prospects, customers and partners.
Michelle graduated
with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information Management from
the College of St. Scholastica. Prior to joining Sansio, Michelle’s work
experience included twelve years with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of
Minnesota, five years with an international rehabilitation firm, and
three years as president of her own consulting firm, which led the
design and implementation of a prototype quality improvement program for
medical clinics.
Michelle has expertise in healthcare management, marketing, sales and
corporate relations, for both early stage and established healthcare
organizations. Her experience transcends sales to managing
operations and customer support. She has achieved successful results
leading quality improvement organizations, corporate accounts, sales
teams and corporate support. Her proven leadership style, quality
initiatives and extensive healthcare and information management
experience play an important role in promoting Sansio’s products,
improving customer satisfaction and raising corporate image awareness.
Michelle and her
husband are empty-nesters, with two sons away at college. Michelle likes
all aspects of entertaining, loves attending the symphony, enjoys a good
book by a warm fire, and is a self-professed interior designer when not
busy with her day job. Favorite foods? Chocolate, chocolate,
