Sansio’s
HealthEMS® EMS system for collection of pre-hospital data was
certified "Gold" compliant for the reporting of NEMSIS data. On
July 14, 2006,
Sansio
was
notified by the NEMSIS Technical
Assistance Center (TAC) that its
HealthEMS® solution was certified
compliant at the "Gold" level with the NHTSA Version 2.2.1
Dataset.
Sansio
was one of only three vendors in the nation to
achieve this status at that time.
Attaining NEMSIS
Gold level compliance will assure current and prospective
customers of
Sansio’s capability to meet NEMSIS reporting
requirements. The
HealthEMS® EMS system is offered FREE to
State Department’s of Health, providing them a state-wide system
that readily accepts NEMSIS data from their EMS providers without
the high costs associated with implementing a new data management
system.
The NEMSIS Project
is an effort to create a national EMS database. The database will
contain data from local and state agencies from across the nation.
This effort will define EMS and pre-hospital care in a way never
before imagined, improving patient care and EMS curriculum and
defining a standard on which to measure care. Agencies across the
nation will be able to share the key elements of their data
nationally.
Providers across the country know that
HealthEMS®
efficiently collects and integrates clinical, financial, and
productivity data, providing a comprehensive tool that
decreases documentation and processing
time, enhances regulatory compliance and promotes quality patient
care.
